easy-Speak Advanced Tasks for Club Officers

2. Create Users

2.1. Add a guest speaker

Adding a Guest Speaker to the user list

You may wish to allow a non-member of your club to make a speech - for example as the target speaker in an evaluation contest, or as a guest speaker from another club at your club meeting.

To do this:

  1. If they have already visited your club they may be in your club membership list with a status of 'Visitor' or 'Guest'.
  2. If this is the case, click on the edit icon next to their status in your club and change it to 'Special Guest' or 'Guest Speaker'.

If not.

  1. Establish whether your guest speaker is a member of another club using easy-Speak.
  2. If they ARE:Connect them to your club by searching for them or entering their username on the 'add user' screen

More information about how to do this is shown here:

Note: If they are not a member of a club using easy-Speak you must create them as a new user:

See below for an example of the Guest list for King Arthur's Playground club site. Minnie has recently added Harry Potter as a Guest Speaker for the meeting; he was already a Potential member of the club.
